BIDA.net Terms of Service

The Service

BIDA.net is operated by BIDANet, based in Meycauayan, Bulacan, Philippines. It lets customers of participating utilities and sites see their utility accounts, bills, payment history and notices from their utility or site operator, and lets an account's owner share access with the people who live at the unit. BIDA.net shows the bills your utility issues; your utility remains responsible for its bills, rates, meter readings and service.

Who Can Use It

You must be at least 18 years old to create a BIDA.net login. If you are a minor, you need the permission of a parent or guardian.

Your Login

• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date
• Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for what is done with your login
• Your login is personal and cannot be transferred or shared

Access to a Utility Account

• A login on its own gives you no access to any account
• You get access when your utility's office has checked your signed enrollment form and sent you an invitation, or when an account's owner approves your request as a renter and the office confirms it
• Ask for access only to an account you are entitled to see: as its holder, a co-owner, someone the holder authorized on the form, or a renter of that unit
• An owner is responsible for the people they approve. The owner or the office can remove someone's access at any time
• Keep other people's account numbers and details that you see private

Bills and Payments

• The bills shown are your utility's. If a bill looks wrong, contact your utility
• You pay through the channels your utility accepts, such as RCBC Pulz, or a third-party payment provider. A bill shows as Paid once your utility has recorded the payment, which can take some time
• Invoices (SI) and receipts (CR) in BIDA.net are reference copies. The official documents are the ones your utility issues

Notices

Your utility or site operator may send you announcements and bill reminders in the app and by email. You can choose which ones you get in Settings → Notifications; urgent notices may still reach you.

What You Must Not Do

• Try to see or ask for access to an account you are not entitled to
• Get around, or try to get around, any security measure
• Interfere with how BIDA.net works, or use it for anything unlawful
• Use the BIDA.net name or logo without permission

Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

Availability and Liability

BIDA.net is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for your utility's billing, rates or interruptions of its service, and, to the extent the law allows, not for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

Suspension

We may suspend or close a login that breaks these terms. Your utility may also remove your access to the accounts it manages.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date below when we do; using BIDA.net after an update means you accept it.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Disputes go to the courts of Taguig City, Philippines.
